Job Description:

  • Conducting classes for Secondary level students in the subjects of English following the provided course structure and materials.
  • Course planning and preparation (course structure and basic materials are provided by center).
  • Prepare academic materials such as handouts, worksheets, and homework to support the teaching of the subjects.
  • Providing regular and constructive feedback to students on their progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Marking and grading homework accurately and promptly.
  • Providing academic assistance to students, identifying and addressing learning difficulties and barriers to student success.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher is required; Prior teaching experience is preferred
  • Possessing 7.0 or higher score in IELTS, is an added advantage
  • Preferably English teaching experience for secondary level
  • Able to speak in fluent English
  • Willing to work on both weekends
  • Willing to work overtime when required
  • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and motivated attitude
  • Basic IT knowledge is preferred for conducting online lessons
  • Patient and passionate in communicating with all students and parents
  • Eager and capable to learn and earnest

Compensation:

  • Working location: Near Bugis and Rochor MRT stations
  • 44 working hours per week with 1.5 days off
  • Weekend work is required; days off are scheduled on weekdays and are fixed (face to face discussion)
  • Mon to Fri: 11am to 8:30pm (including lunch and dinner break)
  • Sat and Sun: 9:30am to 6:30pm (including lunch break)
  • Public holidays: Off
  • Year-end bonus (based on performance)
  • Overtime pay if required
