Accountabilities: The Staff Software Engineer - Cloud Platform Engineering will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure while improving reliability, automation, and engineering efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and other automation frameworks.

Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system reliability, availability, performance, and operational maturity.

Build and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Perform capacity planning, scalability analysis, and demand forecasting to support business growth.

Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and Helm, ensuring efficient container orchestration and lifecycle management.

Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate software and infrastructure delivery processes.

Create automation scripts and internal tools to streamline operations and improve engineering productivity.

Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and governance requirements through best practices and regular assessments.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

Mentor and support other engineers by sharing technical knowledge, improving engineering practices, and promoting continuous learning.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced cloud engineering professional with strong expertise in infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering. Required qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles.

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud-native technologies.

Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform and configuration management solutions such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, containerized environments, and modern cloud deployment practices.

Experience implementing SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and reliability practices.

Proficiency with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar solutions.

Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or comparable platforms.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or similar, with experience using Git-based workflows.

Familiarity with AI-driven operations (AI-Ops) and automation approaches is preferred.

Understanding of cloud security best practices and experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence technical decisions.

Benefits:

Competitive salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 USD .
