DevOps Administrator

Accountabilities Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, investigate incidents, and drive timely resolution while maintaining clear technical documentation.

Configure and improve monitoring and incident-management processes in collaboration with monitoring specialists and other technical teams.

Design and implement backup strategies that strengthen infrastructure resilience and support business continuity.

Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Build effective communication and collaboration between departments to enable automated monitoring of critical core services.

Review and validate the accuracy and quality of data presented in Grafana dashboards, identifying discrepancies and supporting continuous improvements.

Administer VMware infrastructure, including testing new vendor implementations and enhancing existing solutions.

Contribute to technical standards, documentation, automation initiatives, and infrastructure optimization projects.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of system administration, particularly Red Hat and Oracle Linux environments.

Hands-on experience with Docker and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.

Practical experience with CI/CD tools and automated software delivery processes.

Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.

Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

Advanced Git skills and experience working effectively with version-controlled infrastructure and configuration.

Strong monitoring expertise and an understanding of infrastructure observability and operational health.

Experience working with VMware products and virtualized infrastructure environments.

Ability to write scripts and develop automation solutions using appropriate programming or scripting languages.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
