Accountabilities: The Associate Product Manager will support the development and growth of product capabilities by translating customer needs, industry trends, and technical requirements into actionable solutions. Working closely with internal teams, this role will contribute to product strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.

Design, prototype, define, configure, and validate product solutions to ensure customer problems are addressed effectively.

Develop clear product specifications, user stories, and requirements for engineering teams.

Create and manage product roadmaps while prioritizing initiatives based on customer value and business impact.

Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, product management, sales, and consulting teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product improvements.

Communicate product vision, requirements, and priorities clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Support agile product development processes through iteration, testing, and continuous refinement.

Maintain a strong understanding of medical affairs technology and evolving life sciences industry needs.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a proactive product professional with experience managing technology products and a strong ability to work across business and technical teams. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and comfort working in an evolving environment.

2+ years of progressive experience in product management or a related product development role.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Demonstrated experience with product design, development processes, and strategic planning.

Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing requirements.

Experience collaborating with engineering and quality assurance teams to deliver software products.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Based in a region aligned with the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

Experience with data modeling concepts, including entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).

Familiarity with tools such as Lucidchart.

Experience writing detailed user stories and managing product backlogs.

Ability to understand and communicate technical architecture requirements and limitations.

Experience delivering software products in collaboration with engineering teams.
