QA Engineer Intern

What You’ll Do

• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT) on web and/or mobile applications
• Write, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
• Work with developers, product managers, and designers to verify fixes and ensure release quality
• Contribute to improving testing processes and test coverage
• Join sprint activities such as planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

What We’re Looking For

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or a related field
• Understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and basic SDLC/Agile concepts
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, including writing test cases and bug reports
• Basic knowledge of test automation, with experience in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Java)
• Familiarity with testing tools (see below)
• Good communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and a problem-solving mindset
• Able to commit to [X] days/week for [X] months

Tools & Technologies (experience with any of these is a plus)

• Test automation (UI): Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
• API testing: Postman, REST Assured
• Bug and test management: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins
• Performance testing: JMeter, k6
• Other: SQL basics, browser DevTools
