Who we are

Helsing is a defence AI company. Our mission is to protect our democracies. We aim to achieve technological leadership, so that open societies can continue to make sovereign decisions and control their ethical standards.

As democracies, we believe we have a special responsibility to be thoughtful about the development and deployment of powerful technologies like AI. We take this responsibility seriously.

We are an ambitious and committed team of engineers, AI specialists and customer-facing programme managers. We are looking for mission-driven people to join our European teams and apply their skills to solve the most complex and impactful problems. We embrace an open and transparent culture that welcomes healthy debates on the use of technology in defence, its benefits, and its ethical implications.

The role

As (Senior) Programme Manager for Integrated Logistics Support, you will own end-to-end ILS delivery for CA-1, from concept definition through to Final Operational Capability and sustained in-service support. Working across maintenance planning, supply chain, technical documentation, training and support equipment, you will ensure the programme meets its through-life support commitments. You will structure and cost ILS proposals for defence customers, manage complex master schedules, and hold cost and risk baselines to account. Your work will be central to Helsing's ability to deliver operationally ready, sustainably supported capabilities to its customers.

The day-to-day

Own the full ILS lifecycle for CA-1, coordinating across logistics elements including maintenance planning, spare parts management, technical data, training and support equipment to meet programme milestones

Build and manage ILS Master Schedules, risk registers, and cost baselines, providing stakeholders with clear, evidence-based status reporting and corrective action plans

Lead ILS bid and proposal activity, structuring and costing integrated support offers that are technically credible and commercially competitive for defence customers

Define and implement in-service support frameworks, including performance-based logistics and availability contracting arrangements, to secure long-term operational readiness

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and customer-facing teams to align ILS outputs with programme requirements from Initial Operational Capability through to sustained in-service phases

You should apply if you

Have delivered Integrated Logistics Support or Integrated Product Support programmes within a defence or aerospace environment, taking ownership from concept through to in-service sustainment

Bring hands-on experience across multiple ILS elements, including maintenance planning, supply support, technical documentation, training, and support equipment

Have structured, costed, and led ILS proposals and bids for defence customers, with a clear understanding of how support solutions are evaluated commercially and technically

Have managed complex programme controls, including master schedules, milestone tracking, risk registers, and cost baselines, across multi-stakeholder environments

Understand through-life support concepts including performance-based logistics, availability contracting, and in-service sustainment planning

Note: We operate in an industry where women, as well as other minority groups, are systematically under-represented. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the listed qualifications; ability and impact cannot be summarised in a few bullet points.

Nice to have

Familiarity with German defence procurement structures and customer requirements

Experience working within platform sustainment programmes that integrate software or AI-enabled systems alongside traditional ILS elements
