We are looking to hire an operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Walton, KY. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve? Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs

Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers

Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)

Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)

Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers

Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably

Working well with a team!

What are we looking for? Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)

Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening

Willingness to take a 7 year background check

Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately

Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems

Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards

Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE

Proven longevity with employers

Can-do attitude!!
