Senior Java Developer

Key Technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate ORM, Apache Kafka, Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, Distributed Systems, AWS, Oracle, Angular

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate ORM, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability.
  • Develop and enhance backend solutions using Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems to support high-volume transaction processing.
  • Design, develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate secure and efficient communication between enterprise applications.
  • Implement Event-Driven Architecture and asynchronous processing mechanisms to improve system responsiveness, scalability and reliability.
  • Design, deploy and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services, ensuring high availability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage database development and operations using SQL and Oracle, including data modelling, query optimisation and performance tuning.
  • Implement messaging and system integration solutions using Apache Kafka to enable reliable data exchange and real-time event processing.
  • Develop and maintain frontend components using Angular, JavaScript and AJAX to support application functionality and user experience.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities, including technical design, code reviews, debugging and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Java Development, enterprise application engineering or software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate ORM.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience in RESTful API development and system integration.
  • Proven experience implementing Event-Driven Architecture and asynchronous processing mechanisms.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases, including database design, data modelling and performance optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for messaging, event streaming and system integration.
  • Experience developing frontend applications using Angular, JavaScript and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, technical solution design, code reviews and collaborative software development.
