Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and implementproductivity programs for the plant
- Process improvement throughcapability studies
- Preparation of processinstruction
- Fault finding and troubleshootingof process / tooling-related problems during production and testing
- Participates in company’s overallquality and process goals
- Initiate and conduct the test ofnew or modified mould and determine optimum machine settings or optimal processcycle
- Achieve company’s productivityimprovement objective in-house quality & process goals
- Oversees tooling for new products
- Participate and recommendsolutions to moulding problems related to moulds
- Initiate engineering change
- Implementation of mouldpreventive maintenance programs
- Track movement of moulds andcollaborate with Production Department
- Coordinate and keep track ofservice record of moulds
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/ Diploma in Engineering- related Discipline,preferably in Polymer and Plastic Technology, Mechanical
- At least 3 years’ experience in Plastic injection Molding, Preferably in Medical and Automotive industries.
