Badr and Asfour is the Egyptian company for Central Ventilation Systems (CVS) established in El-Minya, Egypt. This company has expertise in providing HVAC solutions in the Middle East and Africa region. It takes pride in manufacturing and delivering certified ventilation products, including air distribution, air control, air movement, and passive fire protection. Under the supervision of the CFO, the Project Finance Specialist will be responsible for the planning and execution of new projects including the financial feasibility, forecasting, budgeting, compliance and other related tasks of new business initiatives/projects from initiation to completion for Badr Asfour and its sister companies in Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial feasibility and detailed analysis of projects to ensure its viability. This includes preparing business plans, financial forecasts (financial modelling), funding strategies, long/short term investments and execution plans to support management to make informed financial/non-financial decisions.
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholder to gather all relevant technical/non-technical requirements for the project and ensure that the feasibility complies with these details.
  • Coordinate to arrange financing for projects with investment banks, project lenders and other project advisors and consultants.
  • Ensure all activities pertaining to the new projects are in compliance with the company policies, local tax laws and regulatory requirements of the country.
  • Detail and manage project timelines to ensure that the team meets milestones all through the project lifecycle without any delays and make sure that deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
  • Improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the project and manage risks– identify and suggest cost-saving opportunities without compromising on the quality /timeliness of project completion and help the company to meet its cash flow goals.
  • Establish appropriate internal controls and project governance.
  • Report the financial/non-financial progress of a project to senior management – Analyze variances and finding ways to stay within budget, regularly reviewing project costs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of projects to ensure they were financially successful.

Any other tasks as maybe assigned by the supervisor(s).

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar capacity.
  • Proficiency with financial software (ERP), excellent knowledge of MS Office, financial modelling and AI Tools
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS) along with Egyptian laws/rules and regulations pertaining to the field.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills to explain financial to non-financial data to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken is compulsory.
