Job Description: We are looking for a software tester

The intern will learn: Fundamentals of Software Testing: Understanding the basic concepts, types, and importance of software testing within the software development lifecycle.

Test Case Design and Execution: Learning how to create, document, and execute test cases based on requirements and specifications.

Manual Testing Techniques: Gaining hands-on experience in manually testing software applications, identifying bugs, and reporting defects.

Automated Testing Basics: Introduction to automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit, learning how to write and run simple automated test scripts.

Bug Tracking and Reporting: Using bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla to log, track, and manage defects throughout the testing process.

Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure issues are understood and resolved.

Testing Documentation: Learning how to document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and professionally.

Different Types of Testing: Exposure to various testing types such as functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Best Practices and Standards: Understanding industry best practices, standards, and methodologies for efficient and effective testing.

Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Developing an analytical mindset to identify, investigate, and troubleshoot issues in software products.
