Your tasks
JobSummary Performprecise pre- and post-survey measurements and reports to support engineeringdesign and as-built documentation. Coordinate with project teams andstakeholders to ensure alignment with construction drawings and resolvediscrepancies promptly.
- Perform accurate pre-measurements and prepare detailed survey reports to support engineering design requirements
- Verify that all field and pipeline coordinates align precisely with construction drawings
- Identify and report any discrepancies between construction drawings and site conditions immediately to the project team and engineering
- Conduct accurate post-measurements and produce survey reports for as-built drawings
- Maintain and calibrate all relevant survey equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers (sub-contractors), and authorities to manage project-related issues
- Ensure timely marking and provision of all necessary coordinates for the construction team
- Resolve survey-related problems by implementing corrective and preventive actions and conducting follow-up audits to drive continuous improvement
- Participate actively in management and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) meetings
- Communicate technical matters clearly with clients and authorities to facilitate project progress
- Coordinate efficiently between engineering design/drafting teams and project teams to ensure seamless workflow
Requirements
Requiredcompetencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in relevant Engineering or Land Surveying discipline
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in surveying field
- Proficiency in oral and written English communication to prepare reports and liaise with stakeholders
- Competent in computer applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to provide accurate survey data with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Initiative and proactivity in executing and delivering assigned tasks
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD software for survey and design support
