Position Requirements

Successful experience in the field of Internal Auditing/Management Consulting, Finance/ Business Control or Process work University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Economics equivalent and/or relevant professional designations Extrovert with strong communication skills, verbal and written Be curious, open-minded, share knowledge Pro-active and result focused approach, ability to form new ways of working and strong in accomplishment Strongly motivated and self-driven Business and process oriented person with a clear holistic view and strong analytical skills Being a team player with ability to work and co-operate effectively in a global multicultural team High integrity and professional judgement Fluent in English, both verbal and written Willing and prepared for occasional travelling, as required The Corporate Audit function in the Volvo Group consists of approximately 40 internal auditors located at Volvo sites around the world.

Corporate Audit is accountable to the CEO, Executive Vice President Group Legal & Compliance and the Audit Committee of the Volvo Group, and supports Volvo in enhancing and protecting organizational value by providing risk-based, independent and objective assurance, advice, and insight.

To further improve the quality and the value-add of assurance activities, the Corporate Audit function has launched various development initiatives aimed at enhancing its ways of working and transforming the function into a world class internal audit function.

We are now looking for a:

Manager with strong initiative and drive to Corporate Audit Center Corporate Audit Center is a centralized team within the Corporate Audit function, supporting the Head of the function in driving the strategic initiatives, ensuring the performance and effective ways of working, driving the common Corporate Audit processes and securing the reporting to our key stakeholders.

The position has the following responsibilities:

To support the Corporate Audit Center in driving the function’s quality work and in implementing measures in Corporate Audit towards the long-term strategy of being a world class internal audit function: Plan and drive initiatives/activities within the Corporate Audit function’s quality assurance and improvement program Give pro-active methodology support to audit teams. Identify and execute activities to meet improvement needs and to utilize good practises Consolidate data and perform analyses of the Corporate Audit function’s performance, and prepare information package Monitor progress of audit- and follow-up execution Manage audit / information tools and requirements in collaboration with Corporate Audit IT and Data Analytics team Support in the preparation of material to external stakeholders e.g. the Audit and Disclosure Committees Identify and prepare relevant topics and information for communication/knowledge sharing in the Corporate Audit function Occasional participation in audit projects, as required
