Major duties

  • You will plan, organize, and perform work required to ensure proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Housing Program.
  • You will receive a variety of assignments usually related to Public Private Venture (PPV) liaison, maintenance, and termination activities.
  • You will receive and process complaints and related investigations concerning residents to leadership.
  • You will process requests for permanent and temporary quarters.
  • You will conduct joint tenant-management walk through of quarters to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of the unit, furnishings, equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: in housing management, residential property management, or related administrative/customer-service functions, including: reviewing and processing housing applications or records; providing customer service and guidance; maintaining electronic records; preparing correspondence or reports; coordinating maintenance or repair requirements; conducting property inspections; resolving resident or tenant complaints; and coordinating with customers, staff, contractors, property managers, or other stakeholders. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 1 full year of graduate level education OR Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
