What we’re looking for We're looking for a highly driven Senior Systems Engineer to own the architecture, integration, and evolution of the core software platform underpinning our robotics and defense-grade systems. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of systems engineering, software architecture, and platform integration, focused on Linux-based systems, native build infrastructure, and communication middleware. This is a technical ownership role where you'll ensure complex native-code applications build, deploy, and run reliably across every environment, from development to target hardware. The day-to-day Platform ownership: design, maintain, and improve the Linux-based software platform used across robotics and embedded systems projects Build systems: own and evolve native build systems, dependency management, packaging, and release processes for complex C/C++ and Rust applications Systems integration: work closely with robotics, embedded, and software engineers on system integration, software architecture, and communication layers Middleware expertise: develop deep expertise in communication middleware and distributed software architectures, including ROS 2, DDS, and serialization frameworks Embedded pipelines: support and optimize cross-compilation workflows, embedded Linux environments, and Yocto-based software delivery pipelines Engineering standards: establish best practices around software integration, testing, artifact management, and release engineering You should apply if you Experience: you bring at least 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering, software infrastructure, build engineering, or embedded Linux Language proficiency: you have strong proficiency in C/C++ and/or Rust, confident working within large native-code codebases Linux depth: you have a deep practical understanding of modern GNU/Linux systems, including architecture, networking, and performance analysis Build tooling: you're experienced with modern native build systems such as CMake, Bazel, or Ninja, and dependency management Middleware knowledge: you have a strong understanding of distributed software systems and communication middleware such as ROS 2 or DDS Education: you hold a degree in computer science or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience that speaks louder than the diploma Nice to haves Embedded depth: advanced Yocto expertise, including custom layers, recipes, and BSP integration Real-time systems: experience with real-time Linux systems and performance optimization Domain exposure: familiarity with defense, aerospace, or other regulated software environments What we offer Real impact & ownership:  Shape high-tech defense systems and take responsibility from day one.
