Reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Accounts Receivable, including high-volume AR activity
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable and providing holiday cover
  • Processing and understanding monthly payroll
  • Preparing P11Ds and supporting pension administration
  • Calculating commission payments
  • Processing journals and general bookkeeping
  • Supporting all transactional finance activities
  • Assisting with company credit card reconciliations
  • Acting as a second pair of eyes across finance processes
  • Supporting escalations and providing operational assistance to the Finance Manager
  • Assisting with additional payrolls following future business acquisitions if required

What you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar finance role (such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Officer or Transactional Finance Officer)
  • Broad transactional finance knowledge, including AR, AP, and payroll
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and finance processes
  • Experience with journals, pensions, and P11Ds
  • Commission calculation experience (desirable)
  • Comfortable working independently and supporting transactional finance
  • Experience with Netsuite (advantageous)
