Job Summary
You will evaluate and develop permanent Traffic Plan and temporary Traffic Control Plans, conduct Transport Impact Assessments, perform site visits, and liaise with clients and third parties to ensure effective traffic engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop permanent Traffic Plan and temporary Traffic Control Plans
- Conduct Transport Impact Assessments to analyse and predict traffic conditions
- Perform site visits to assess traffic conditions
- Liaise with clients and third parties to communicate project progress, gather requirements, and resolve issues
- Apply knowledge of local traffic codes and regulations
- Utilise SIDRA software to model and analyze traffic flow and intersection performance
- Use AutoCAD proficiently to prepare detailed traffic control and road design drawings
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Demonstrate self-motivation, ability to multi-task, and eagerness to learn
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams
- Possess relevant experience in traffic engineering, including permanent and temporary road design and traffic analysis
- Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Preferably be a local resident or Permanent Resident (PR)
