Want to help everyday Americans invest and build wealth? Financial inequality is increasing, and too many people are getting left behind. At Stash, we’re passionate about democratizing wealth creation through education, advice, and products that help customers achieve greater financial freedom. We also believe in working smarter—leveraging AI and emerging technologies to move faster, operate more efficiently, and focus our time on solving meaningful problems for our customers.

We're looking for a Social Content Manager to take the lead on Stash's organic social presence. You’ll be part of our small, but growing creative team and report to the Creative Director. You'll help shape what our brand looks and sounds like on all social channels, with real ownership over how people discovery and engage with Stash.

This role blends creative execution with strategic direction. You’ll help plan Stash's social presence and also personally create much of the content that brings it to life, bringing in outside creators and talent when a project calls for it.

We're looking for someone who is fluent in social media, has a strong point of view on what makes content engaging, and is comfortable being both the strategist and the person behind the camera.

What you'll do:

Own organic social strategy

Own Stash's organic social channels end to end across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Linkedin, and more.

Develop the content strategy and direction for organic social, grounded in a clear point of view on brand and audience

Set and track goals for organic growth, engagement, and community health across channels

Create content

Shoot, edit, and write original content

Stay on top of platform trends, formats, and culture, and translate them into content that fits Stash's brand voice

Maintain a consistent posting cadence and a content calendar that balances planned and reactive content

Partner cross-functionally

Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align social content with broader campaigns and launches

Provide insights and input for paid social ads, using your expertise to help increase performance

Use performance data to inform what content to make more of, and what to retire

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who thinks like a strategist and works like a creator. You understand what makes people stop scrolling, and you're just as comfortable writing a content strategy as you are shooting and editing a video yourself. You believe organic social is a real growth lever, not an afterthought.

Required experience

5+ years of experience running organic social for a brand

Strong portfolio of content you've personally shot, written, and/or edited

Experience developing and executing a social content strategy, not just posting to one

Experience sourcing, briefing, and managing outside creators or talent, including budget management

Sharp instincts with a clear point of view on what's working in social and why

Gold Stars

Experience in fintech, consumer finance, or another regulated industry

Familiarity with social listening and performance analytics tools

Basic motion graphics or editing skills beyond native app tools

A curiosity and familiarity with AI tools that can help streamline and improve processes

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We proudly celebrate the unique qualities that make you you, 365 days a year, and not just because it’s the right thing to do or good for business. We embed the principles and practices of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into all that we do to prioritize people, a Stash core value , and to ensure Stashers of all backgrounds and experiences can be their authentic selves.

We are also proud to be the first and only venture-backed fintech to join the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™ , and as an Equal Opportunity Employer, Stash is committed to building an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds.
