Production Planner Specialist

The incumbent will carry out the following functional areas: Production Scheduling and Management:

1) Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands 2) Develop and manage production schedules for various packaging lines and products based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products 3) Generate monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on available orders and production capacity. 4) Plan and decide on items to be manufactured and their quantities based on forecasts. 5) Organize and prioritize production according to demand and quality standards. 6) Monitor and adjust production schedules to accommodate changes in customer orders, material availability, and production capacity.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of proven experience in production planning, scheduling in the packaging manufacturing industry.

A strong understanding of “Printing- Die Cutting/ Gluing-Cups-bags- Corrugated”. Ability to analyze and interpret complex project specifications, blueprints, and production requirements

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Just-In-Time (JIT) principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Business Acumen– a solid understanding of the organizations’ industry, market dynamics, and key drivers of business performance is crucial.

Strong Analytical skills to diagnose organizational issues, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions. Problem-solving skills to address complex organizational challenges and implement effective solutions. Attention to Details – ability to strong attention to details, ensure accuracy, identify and investigate anomalies or errors.

Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, build buy-in, and facilitate smooth transitions during periods of change.

Excellent Presentation skills to effectively convey ideas, influence stakeholders, and facilitate training sessions. Adaptability – accepts change, understands changes in work tasks, situations, and environment.
