MRP Specialist

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Material Requirements Planner (MRP) to ensure the availability of raw materials required for manufacturing, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute material planning strategies aligned with production schedules and customer demand.

Monitor inventory levels, demand, consumption, lead times, MOQ, safety stocks, and reorder points.

Run and monitor MRP requirements and ensure timely material availability.

Ensure accurate and approved BOMs, recipes, material master data, and consumption parameters .

Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on material ETAs and discrepancies.

Collaborate with Production, FAM, Sales/Demand Planning, Technical, and Costing teams to ensure material feasibility.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by building and validating material structures and recipes.

Monitor inventory issues, stockouts, excess inventory, schedule changes, and cancellations.

Analyze raw material consumption and prepare regular MRP and inventory reports.

Monitor key MRP KPIs including material availability, stockouts, excess inventory, and BOM accuracy .

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field .

3–5 years of experience in MRP, Material Planning, or a similar role, preferably within carton/packaging manufacturing .

Strong knowledge of manufacturing and commercial operations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.

Good understanding of ERP systems and MS Excel .

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and investigate data discrepancies.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Strong communication skills in Arabic and English .
