Junior Accounting

Requirements:

• A bachelor (or above) degree in Accounting is required
• 1-3 years of experience in financing industry or financial service
• Have extensive knowledge of financial services transactions/activities, including journal entries and financial statements preparations
• Resilient, adaptable and keen on continuous learning and development

Job Description:

• Prepare General Ledger accounts and prepare journal entries (monthly, adjusting, and/or recurring) and related reconciliations for month-end and year-end closing in a timely manner with financial statements, management report and variance analysis
• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analysing information from the general ledger system and from departments
• Responsible for local statutory reporting including liaising with auditors, tax consultant and local tax authority
