Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for electrical systems and industrial equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.

Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical panels, motors, MCCs, VFDs, control circuits, sensors, and related equipment.

Analyze recurring electrical problems and implement effective corrective actions.

Follow and improve preventive maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and availability.

Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment and systems.

Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and reduce breakdowns.

Coordinate with mechanical, production, and other maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operation.

Maintain accurate maintenance reports, breakdown records, and spare parts requirements.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with electrical safety standards and company procedures.

Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for major and repeated equipment failures.

Guide and support technicians during maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

3–5 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance , preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, and protection systems.

Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation is preferred.

Good understanding of electrical safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.

Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Willingness to work in shifts or respond to emergency maintenance requirements when needed.
