Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma.
Tasks:
- Apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
- Clean the crops.
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas.
- Clear fields of wood and stones.
- Cultivate on vertical farming system.
- Cut agricultural crops.
- Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots.
- Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market..
- Level earth to fine grade specifications.
- Monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns.
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops.
- Shear and shape trees and plants with knife.
- Sort fruits and vegetables.
- Weeding.
- Write daily basic progress reports.
- Clean work area.
- Harvest crops.
- Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens.
- Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry.
- Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market.
