Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Customs Coordinator on behalf of our valued client. This Customs Coordinator opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As the appointed Customs Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations. About the Role: • Processing import and export customs declarations accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring customs documentation is compliant with current HMRC regulations
- Liaising with freight forwarders, transport providers and customers regarding shipment requirements
- Maintaining accurate records, systems and customs documentation
- Supporting the wider logistics and operations teams with customs-related queries
- Monitoring shipment progress and proactively resolving issues
- Delivering exceptional service and demonstrating a professional approach at all times
About You: • Previous experience within customs, freight forwarding, logistics or international trade
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and customs management systems
- Proactive, team-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
