Technical Documentation & Design Coordination: Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements .

Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards .

Procurement & Material Management: Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.

Assist in selecting, procuring, and tracking mechanical materials and equipment.

Ensure timely delivery of materials through coordination with suppliers and vendors .

Maintain and update material submittals and approvals logs .

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all mechanical works comply with MEP standards and regulatory requirements .

Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.

Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and compliance records .

Cost Control & Budgeting: Assist in preparing cost estimates and project budgets .

Monitor variations and support claims preparation .

Coordinate with the finance team for cost tracking and reporting .

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering .

3-5 years of experience in MEP construction (contracting or consultancy).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred) , and Microsoft Office Suite .

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems .

Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.).

Knowledge of project scheduling, procurement processes, and cost control .

Soft Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.

Detail-oriented with problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities .
