Nanofabrication Engineer

SCALINQ develops next-generation quantum technologies. We are now looking for an experienced Nanofabrication Engineer who wants to help transform cutting-edge research into real-world quantum hardware. The role As a Nanofabrication Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing fabrication processes for next-generation quantum hardware. Your primary focus will be hands-on nanofabrication and process development in advanced cleanroom environments, taking processes from concept through implementation and continuous improvement. In addition, you will contribute to device design, characterization, experimentation, and data analysis. While you will work with technologies that enable quantum computing, prior experience in quantum technologies is not required. Your work will include: Nanofabrication in cleanroom facilities

Process development and optimization

Device modelling and design

Characterization and measurement of fabricated devices

Data analysis and troubleshooting

Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Planning and executing experiments

Requirements MSc with several years of relevant industry experience, or a PhD in a relevant field

Strong experience in nanofabrication, microfabrication, semiconductor processing, or related technologies

Experience in hardware development environments

Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have Superconducting devices or quantum technologies

High-frequency or analog hardware development

Development of fabrication processes from concept to implementation

MyFab cleanroom certifications/licenses
