Armed Security Guard

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management and loss prevention while maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts. Participate in regular training sessions to maintain certification in first aid, CPR, and other relevant skills. Requirements Valid TXDPS Level III armed security guard license. Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred. Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Must pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
