HGV Class 1 Driver

Permanent HGV Class 1 Driver needed in Hereford, Paying £16.50ph, Monday to Friday with an optional extra day every other week, Safe car lock up.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E)Driver to join our client. This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and company regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or experienced driver who enjoys working independently and delivering outstanding customer service.

The Role

• Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles
• No handballing required
• Distance runs available
• Mostly Forklift or trailer swaps

Requirements

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Be over 21 years of age (insurance purposes)
• Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements
• Have a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
• Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
• Successfully complete company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test
