Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to lead technically complex, high value projects for one of our Defence manufacturers . Acting as a primary technical contact, you’ll define manufacturing methods , drive best practice, and ensure delivery on time, right first time , and within cost. You’ll liaise across engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver precision-engineered solutions in a highly regulated environment , while continuously improving processes and performance .

Manufacturing Engineer Job Description
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver precision-engineered solutions
- Utilise strong CAD/CAM knowledge to support CNC machining processes, including programming, tooling selection, and optimisation of tool paths.
- Establish and define methods of manufacture for complex components, creating and transferring effective manufacturing routings into production
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
Manufacturing Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Familiar working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC Machining techniques
- Experience using CAD/CAM software to support manufacturing processes and CNC programming.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, process optimisation, and quality standards.
- Prior experience managing technical projects from concept to delivery
