Catagory Buyer

• Identify, prospect and onboard potential vendors & sellers to Ourshopee website
• Effectively prioritize and lead a pipeline of vendors & sellers to consistently meet targets
• Learn and understand the specificities of your categories to spot popular brands, trends, seasonal items and pricing to best tailor your pitch and advice to vendors & sellers
• Be the co-owner of the P&L of the category, ensuring Retail and Marketplace profitability
• Analyze data and reports for your portfolio of vendors & sellers – Be their business partner, providing them with data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success on Ourshopee
• Own and optimize category promotion performance by maximizing both the percentage of catalog items on promotion and the revenue contribution driven by promotional activities
• Enable vendors & sellers to learn Ourshopee tools so they may become self-sufficient in handling their catalog, inventory and pricing

A day in the life of an Account Manager includes, but are not limited to:

• Interacting with Key vendors & sellers
• Sourcing new selection from your portfolio of vendors & amp; sellers with potential to add more
• Staying focused on availability for top-products
• Maintaining sharp prices on the platform

Requirements

• Bachelors degree, or MBA in Marketing, E-commerce
• 2-10 years of account management or sales experience within e-commerce or Retail in UAE in the specific category
• Skilled in business development with strong negotiation skills and proven track record of exceeding sales goals
• Experience in intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince and explain complex concepts in a simple manner (Fluency in English)
• Experience in data analysis
• Experience working in a fast-moving consumer business, with intention to thrive and align with the Company’s vision
