Junior Space Systems Engineer (m/f)

Systems Engineering Plans and documentation
Contribute to the preparation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Systems Engineering Plans (SEP) across OQ projects. Activities can include:
- preparing and updating SEP;
- reviewing contracts, Statements of Work (SoW), proposals and other project documents to identify the applicable requirements;
- checking that the identified requirements are correctly included and traceable in OQ PLMS;
- checking that requirement information in OQ PLMS is complete and up to date, including requirement level, rationale, verification method, verification stage, status and subsystem allocation;
- supporting the update and maintenance of requirements in OQ PLMS;
- identifying missing, incomplete or inconsistent requirements and discussing them with the responsible System Engineer;
- maintaining compliance matrices and other supporting technical documentation;
- supporting the preparation of Systems Engineering documentation for project reviews;
- identifying missing, incomplete or outdated Systems Engineering documentation and supporting its update.
Technical proposals and early-phase mission studies
- Support the systems engineering contribution to new proposals, tenders, feasibility studies and early-phase mission activities.
Lessons Learned and continuous improvement
- Create and maintain a structured approach for collecting and analyzing systems engineering lessons learned from OQ projects and proposals.
Multidisciplinary engineering support
- Provide technical support to Systems Engineering activities in areas consistent with her engineering background and demonstrated capabilities, under the supervision of the relevant technical lead.
Depending on project needs, this may include:
- preliminary thermo-mechanical assessments and analysis;
- CubeSat structural and mechanical engineering support;
- preliminary thermal analysis / simulations;
- mechanical loads, vibration and shock assessment support;
- payload architecture and payload design activities;
- component and COTS evaluation;
- preliminary interface assessments;
- support to technical trade-offs;
Systems Engineering framework deployment and improvement
Contribute to the deployment, application and continuous improvement of OQ's systems engineering framework across projects, helping ensure that defined SE processes, methods and templates are effectively implemented in day-to-day project activities and updated based on project experience and lessons learned.
Études: Bachelor (Bac +3)
Métier / domaine de formation: Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Space Engineering or any other related field
