Hair Studio, Lead Stylist - Lekki Phase 1

We’re looking for an experienced and highly skilled Lead Stylist to join the Nuuri team.

This role is for someone who is passionate about hair, styling and the business of hair , and who wants to play an active role in growing and developing what we offer at Nuuri.

THE ROLE

As Lead Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality styling services while helping to lead our styling team and further develop our products and services.

You will:

• Lead and support our team of stylists and braiders
• Deliver consistently neat, high-quality styling services
• Train and support other stylists in improving their techniques
• Maintain high standards of execution and finishing
• Help develop new styles, techniques and services
• Contribute ideas for improving our existing products and services
• Assist with testing and developing new hair offerings
• Help develop and maintain styling standards and training processes
• Take an active role in the continued growth of Nuuri’s hair business

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for someone with strong practical experience in:

• Sew-ins and weave installations
• Stitch braids
• Neat braiding styles and protective styling
• Hair extensions and extension installation
• Creating clean, polished and long-lasting finishes

You should also be:

• A university graduate
• Experienced (3 years +) in a professional salon or hair business environment
• Passionate about hair and the hair business
• Confident leading, teaching and working with a team
• Creative and interested in developing new styles and services
• Detail-oriented and committed to excellent work
• Proactive, organised and able to take initiative
• Interested in the commercial side of building a growing hair business
