Mid-level Backend Developer C#

We are looking for a Mid-level Backend Engineer with strong .NET experience to build and support high-load backend systems in a real-time, event-driven Sportsbook environment. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimising core systems handling live sports data feeds, real-time betting execution, wallet transactions, and platform management tools

Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using C#/.NET.

Design and scale microservices tailored for real-time sports betting and management systems.

Integrate, process, and broadcast high-throughput event streams (Kafka) for live match data and fluctuating odds.

Write highly optimised SQL queries and manage complex data consistency/locking strategies in MS SQL Server to handle sudden transactional spikes (e.g., match settlements).

Leverage real-time OLAP data warehouses (Apache Doris / ClickHouse) to stream, store, and analyse massive volumes of betting logs and transactional data.

Ensure system reliability, low latency, and horizontal scalability during peak sporting events.

3–5 years of experience in .NET backend development.

Strong knowledge of C#, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

Production experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems handling high-volume data streams.

Solid experience with MS SQL Server, with a deep understanding of transaction isolation levels, indexing, and high-concurrency performance tuning.

Practical experience or strong understanding of modern real-time data warehousing / OLAP solutions like Apache Doris or ClickHouse for high-volume data analysis.

Experience dealing with high-concurrency, real-time transactional systems where data accuracy and sub-second speed are critical.

Proven experience in Sportsbook / Sports Betting platforms (highly preferred) or in Gaming.
