Job Description
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that support operational and commercial objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across ingredients, packaging, equipment and indirect spend categories.
- Build and manage key supplier relationships while negotiating commercial agreements and service levels.
- Drive cost optimisation, supplier performance improvement and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Establish robust procurement governance, compliance and supplier evaluation frameworks.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, R&D and commercial teams on business priorities.
- Lead, mentor and develop procurement professionals while enhancing team capabilities across local and international sourcing.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimally 10 years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, consumer goods or related industries.
- Proven track record managing supplier negotiations, category management and procurement transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading procurement teams and driving organisational capability building.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality and supply continuity objectives.
- Familiarity with local and international sourcing, trade compliance, logistics or export operations.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple business functions.
