Quantity Surveyor

Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quantity surveying and cost estimating
• Checking and analysing of tenders
• Preparing economic feasibility studies from information provided by Architects, Engineers or Planners
• Preparing progressive claims
• Ensure that project files, drawings, specification and bidding contracts are maintained
• Update and record variation or omission order issued of each project, record certified claims
• Verify sub-contractor’s claims for approval
• Prepare and purchase insurance for project such as Performance Bond
• Any other adhoc works.

Minimum Qualifications/Experiences:

• Construction / Building related Diploma/Degree
• Preferably with some relevant working experience in construction or aluminium related industry.
• Fresh graduates are welcome

Knowledge/skills Required:

• Proficient in MS Office
• Good knowledge in mathematical calculation
• Knowledge of building codes
• Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction
• Possess skill in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Possess skills in accurate measurement, preparation on tender, calculation, pricing and quotation
• Understand the relevant standard forms of Building
• Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
