Deputy Manager - Hertfordshire

Support the Registered Manager in the daily management of the residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and providing leadership to the care team.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff

Ensure all care is child-centred and meets statutory requirements

Support in inspections and audits

Manage rotas, risk assessments, and incident reporting

Act as Manager in their absence

Qualifications and Essential Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare

Knowledge of relevant legislation (Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards)

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Enhanced DBS check
