Project Director

Role summary

Seeking an accomplished Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of large to mega-scale finishing and interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will hold overall responsibility for operational, technical, commercial, and financial performance from mobilization through completion and final handover.

Key responsibilities

Lead the delivery of large-scale finishing and interior fit-out projects from start to finish.

Oversee operational, technical, commercial, and financial aspects of projects.

Ensure successful project completion and final handover.

Manage multidisciplinary teams, including client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.

Implement project budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and monitoring, project P&L, margin protection, and cost control.

Develop and execute procurement strategies, payment certification, revenue forecasting, and manage variations and claims.

Drive value engineering and commercial risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

Minimum 18 years of construction and project-delivery experience.

Extensive experience in finishing, interior fit-out, and turnkey project delivery.

Proven track record of delivering large, mega, or giga projects in the GCC; experience in Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred.

Background in luxury hospitality, hotels, high-rise, commercial, mixed-use, or high-end developments.

Demonstrated leadership at Project Director, Projects Director, Construction Director, or equivalent level.

Strong client, consultant, subcontractor, and multidisciplinary team-management skills.

Arabic speaker preferred; Saudi Council of Engineers membership is an advantage.
