Community Liaison Officer

(CLO)

The CLO is responsible for building and sustaining working and trusting relationships between the CSSP-WIP project and local communities.

Required qualifications / experience

Experience in the field of community relations

High level of interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills

Empathetic towards sensitive cultural, personal and community issues

Mediation and conflict resolution skills

Knowledge of local language

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

Able to dialog, disclose information, negotiate

Understanding of the economic, political and social dynamics in the area of operation

Good reporting skills

Diligent and meticulous
