Accountabilities: Partner with the Senior HR Manager to develop, implement, and deliver the distribution center’s HR strategy in alignment with operational and organizational goals.

Collaborate with distribution center leadership to provide strategic HR guidance, coaching, and consultation that improve business performance and workforce effectiveness.

Analyze workforce metrics, employee feedback, and organizational indicators to assess workplace health and recommend initiatives that sustain or improve the employee experience.

Maintain consistent communication with distribution center leaders and HR management, coordinating responses to employee relations concerns and other critical HR matters.

Advise managers on organizational planning, salary administration, leadership development, and other HR programs and services.

Promote a positive and inclusive workplace by listening to employee and leadership concerns, responding promptly, and recommending appropriate solutions.

Identify leadership development and training needs in collaboration with the Senior HR Manager, and implement programs to address them.

Facilitate training sessions on diversity and inclusion, positive employee relations, leadership development, and other relevant HR topics.

Support talent management and Everyday Performance Management initiatives, including coaching leaders on effective performance feedback and development.

Guide frontline leaders through performance improvement and corrective action processes, including disciplinary measures and terminations when appropriate.

Participate in weekly performance review meetings as an HR representative, helping leaders address performance challenges and strengthen accountability.

Support change management initiatives and workforce planning activities that improve organizational readiness, employee engagement, and retention.

Build effective partnerships across the organization to promote trust, collaboration, and consistent application of HR practices.

Requirements:

At least 6 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred.

Professional HR certification, such as PHR or SPHR, preferred.

Previous experience in organizational planning, change management, and leadership development.

Experience working in a distribution center or similar operational environment preferred.

Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and advise employees and leaders at all organizational levels.

Strong employee relations skills, including experience addressing workplace concerns, performance issues, and corrective action processes.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to interpret workforce data and translate findings into practical recommendations.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated change management capabilities and the ability to help teams adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

High levels of professionalism, adaptability, sound judgment, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Ability to work fully onsite at the distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with reasonable accommodations available where applicable.
