Prompt Engineer
Accountabilities: The Prompt Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and evaluating AI prompts and workflows to enhance the performance of enterprise AI solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Design, create, and refine client-specific prompts to improve accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of AI-powered interactions.
Develop tool descriptions and configurations for agentic AI frameworks to improve system capabilities and user experiences.
Test and optimize prompts through structured experimentation, automated evaluation scripts, and performance analysis.
Evaluate and benchmark large language models to identify the best approaches for specific customer requirements.
Build evaluation frameworks and establish best practices for prompt quality, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with customer success teams, data scientists, and technical stakeholders to deliver customized AI solutions.
Maintain clear documentation covering prompt strategies, optimization processes, testing results, and implementation guidelines.
Research advancements in NLP, generative AI, and prompting techniques to continuously improve AI capabilities.
Experiment with new methodologies and adapt strategies based on evolving AI models and technologies.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and software development, with experience applying AI techniques to real-world applications. Required qualifications include:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and machine learning principles.
Hands-on experience designing, writing, optimizing, and evaluating AI prompts.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks and libraries, including tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate AI outputs and identify improvement opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science is preferred.
Experience working with large language models such as GPT-3, GPT-4, Llama, or similar technologies is a strong asset.
Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools is beneficial.
Experience with agile development methodologies is an advantage.
