Shift Details

This position operates on a 2-shift rotation system. Candidates must beflexible and willing to work either shift based on operational requirements andassigned roster.

  • Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Late / PM Shift: 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Shift assignments may be rotated based on business and operationalrequirements.

  • Min 1 years of exp (Preferred Experience working with IT hardware, ITassets, electronics or computer equipment)

Job Description

  1. IT Asset Receiving & Handling
  • Receive and physically handle incoming IT equipment andhardware in accordance with warehouse procedures.
  • Unpack incoming shipments and inspect equipment forvisible physical damage, discrepancies or abnormalities.
  • Verify asset quantities, serial numbers, asset tags andother relevant identifiers against the required documentation.
  • Segregate and escalate damaged, defective or unidentifiedassets for further investigation.
  1. Asset Packing & Preparation
  • Safely pack IT devices and equipment for deployment,transportation or storage.
  • Ensure devices are packed using the appropriate packagingmaterials and methods to prevent damage during handling and transit.
  • Ensure all completed boxes are properly sealed, securedand prepared in accordance with SOP and warehouse procedures.
  • Perform a final physical check before assets are releasedfor dispatch.
  1. RFID & Asset Tagging
  • Apply RFID tags and asset identification labels accuratelyto the designated IT equipment.
  • Verify that RFID/asset tags are correctly positioned,securely attached and readable.
  • Perform visual and system checks to confirm successfultagging where applicable.
  • Report missing, damaged, duplicated or incorrectly appliedasset tags for correction.
  1. Basic User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Perform basic physical and operational UAT checks on ITdevices prior to dispatch.
  • Verify that devices meet the defined baseline readinesscriteria.
  • Check for basic physical conditions, device power-upstatus and other defined UAT requirements.
  • Accurately record UAT results and identify devices thathave passed or failed the required checks.
  • Escalate failed UAT results or hardware abnormalities tothe relevant technical team.
  1. Asset Records & Data Integrity
  • Accurately complete warehouse checklists, asset recordsand processing documentation.
  • Update required records to indicate UAT status, RFIDtagging status and asset processing status.
  • Ensure information captured is complete, accurate andconsistent with the physical asset.
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy to supportinventory tracking, asset reconciliation and audit requirements.
  1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
  • Support daily warehouse activities including assetmovement, storage, picking, staging and dispatch.
  • Ensure IT assets are stored systematically and securelyaccording to warehouse requirements.
  • Assist with stock counts, asset reconciliation andperiodic inventory checks.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the warehouseremains clean, organized and safe.
  • Follow established safety, security and asset-handlingprocedures at all times.
  1. Team Collaboration & Operational Support
  • Work closely with Imaging, Extraction and other technicalteams to ensure smooth asset processing.
  • Coordinate the handover and movement of assets betweenwarehouse and technical processing areas.
  • Highlight operational issues, discrepancies or bottlenecksto the Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.
  • Support other warehouse activities and operational tasksas assigned.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, production,manufacturing or asset-handling environment.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to accurately followstandard operating procedures.
  • Comfortable handling IT equipment and performingrepetitive physical processing activities.
  • Physically able to lift and move boxes/equipment and standor walk for extended periods.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to work withchecklists, spreadsheets or inventory systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and disciplined in followingoperational procedures.
  • Willing and able to work the assigned Day or Late/PMshift.

Preferred

  • Experience working with IT hardware, IT assets,electronics or computer equipment.
  • Experience in an IT asset warehouse, data centre,logistics hub or technology environment.
  • Familiarity with asset tagging, RFID, barcode scanning orinventory management systems.
  • Experience performing basic hardware/device quality checksor UAT.
  • Experience working with technical teams such as desktopsupport, imaging or hardware deployment teams.
