Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and Data Engineering teams. You'll play a key role in translating business needs into scalable data solutions while supporting the transition from an SAP landscape to Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical data requirements.
• Design data mappings, transformation logic and KPI definitions.
• Collaborate on conceptual and logical data models.
• Perform SQL analysis, data profiling and data quality assessments.
• Produce BRDs and Functional Specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis for data discrepancies and pipeline issues.
• Define and execute testing and UAT activities.
• Contribute to data governance through documentation and metadata management.
• Support and maintain the existing SAP BW environment while contributing to the future data platform.

Languages

MANDATORY : English + French or Dutch ✔ Strong experience with SAP BW

• Experience with SAP data extraction processes
• SQL (complex joins, data profiling)
• Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake, ETL)
• Logical & physical data modelling
• BRD & Functional Specifications

Nice to have

• Google BigQuery
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• SAP SD and/or SAP MM
• Retail or large enterprise experience

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Experience as a Data Business Analyst or in a similar consulting role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
