Specialist, Internal Communications
About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Specialist to manage all internal communications for the company. In this role, you will consult and collaborate with People Operations, Corporate Communications, Information Technology, and Arena Operations teams on core internal initiatives, overarching messaging platforms, planning and implementation. This position reports to the Manager, Inclusion & Internal Communications.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the proposal and development of communications plans and strategies
Manage the daily flow of communications requests to ensure the timely dissemination of critical information to relevant stakeholders
Maintain multi-channel communications (i.e., Slack, Outlook, intranet, etc.)
Develop communications plans to enhance the team member experience
Ensure all communications are consistent and aligned with the Warriors' corporate brand identity, strategic direction, business philosophies and general practices
Assist in the development and execution of communications and change management plans for corporate business initiatives, organizational changes, and employee-facing programs
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the company ensuring targeted communications are streamlined effectively and efficiently
Assist in the implementation the company's employment brand in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Workplace Experience
Write/edit and distribute/post communications including department and company newsletters, calendars, copy for intranet portals, and copy for LinkedIn posts
Assist with execution of Town Halls and periodic external speakers' series
Manage approval process for team members seeking speaking opportunities both internally and externally; assist in team member preparation for speaking opportunities
Assist in the development and delivery of training staff on presentation and public speaking skills
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism/Communications/Media Relations, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years public relations/media relations experience
Experience with internal communications and events; ability to deliver strategic counsel and tactical excellence for internal communications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace, Adobe Suite, and Canva
Experience using artificial intelligence tools and workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
Ability to build positive relationships with partners and peers at all levels within the organization
Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Compensation
$34.00 - $36.00 Per Hour + Bonus
