*About the Role* We are looking for a detail-oriented Industrial Designer to join our team, with a strong focus on creating accurate shop drawings and contributing to new product development. This role blends technical precision with creative problem-solving, supporting projects from concept through to production.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Develop clear, precise, and production-ready shop drawings for a variety of projects
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure designs meet technical and manufacturing requirements
- Translate conceptual ideas into detailed CAD models and technical drawings
- Participate in the design and development of new products, from ideation to prototyping
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback, site conditions, and project changes
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, materials specifications, and manufacturing processes
- Maintain organized documentation and version control of design files
*Qualifications & Skills*
- Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks
- Experience producing shop drawings and technical documentation
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and architectural/engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
*Nice to Have*
- Experience with prototyping and product testing
- Familiarity with additional design/rendering tools (e.g., Rhino, KeyShot, AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques or working with vendors
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
