Cyber Security Specialist

For a fast-growing organization active in critical infrastructure and sustainability, we are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist with a technical background and experience in IT Governance.

In this role, you act as the technical cornerstone within the security organization and as the primary sparring partner of the CISO. You translate laws and regulations into concrete, practical security measures and ensure that security is structurally and pragmatically embedded within IT, cloud, and OT environments.

You are responsible for the day-to-day management of security operations, collaboration with external security partners, and the integration of security into architecture and transformation projects—without compromising business continuity. In this context, you play a key role in implementing the NIS2 directive.

Profile

• Several years of experience in Cyber Security;
• Experience with NIS2 and Governance projects;
• Educational background in IT;
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong communication skills in English
