PROCESS ENGINEERING CONSULTANT

Your tasks

Lead process engineering activities to optimize production efficiency and quality. Collaborate across departments to establish process flows, implement engineering changes, and support new product introduction while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Lead Process Associate Engineers and Technicians to execute process-engineering tasks that enhance production efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments to design and establish process flows that fulfill customer and business requirements.
• Maintain and update production work instructions, including shop-floor controls and processes, to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Lead the implementation of engineering change orders to improve manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and improve process efficiency by tracking units-per-hour and initiating process improvements.
• Maintain the engineering-change master list and related tracking records to ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare and revise production work instructions to reflect current processes and standards.
• Train production personnel on work instructions and process requirements to ensure consistent execution.
• Support new product introduction and mass-production activities by coordinating engineering efforts.
• Participate in ISO implementation and maintenance activities to uphold quality management standards.

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant working experience in Singapore or equivalent.
• Commitment to complying with Responsible Business Alliance standards.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, headquarters, factories, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Strong problem-solving skills applied to process engineering challenges.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Good project-management skills to coordinate engineering activities.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining documentation and process controls.
