LOGISTICS MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, delivery, distribution, and shipment coordination.
2. Plan and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
3. Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding logistics arrangements.
4. Monitor the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and designated delivery locations.
5. Manage transportation costs, delivery expenses, and logistics budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
6. Ensure accurate documentation and records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements.
7. Supervise logistics personnel and coordinate work assignments to maintain operational efficiency.
8. Monitor delivery performance, resolve transportation issues, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable transportation and logistics regulations.
10. Prepare logistics reports and perform other related duties as assigned by the employer.
