Job Purpose The Cluster Head – Front Office is responsible for providing corporate leadership, direction, and operational oversight for Front Office functions across all hotels within the Group . The position ensures that Front Office operations are consistently managed according to the Group's standards, policies, service expectations, and guest experience objectives. The role will lead the development and implementation of Front Office standards, procedures, training programs, and performance improvement initiatives across the hotel portfolio. The Cluster Head will also act as the corporate subject-matter expert for Front Office operations , working closely with Hotel General Managers, Front Office Managers, Rooms Division teams, and HR/Learning & Development to build a highly professional, service-oriented, and commercially effective Front Office organization. Key Responsibilities

  1. Corporate Front Office Leadership

Provide strategic and operational leadership for Front Office departments across all hotels.

Establish and maintain consistent Front Office operating standards across the Group.

Develop and implement Group-wide Front Office policies, SOPs, procedures, and service standards.

Conduct regular operational reviews and audits of Front Office departments.

Identify operational weaknesses and implement corrective and improvement plans.

Support hotels in resolving complex Front Office and guest-service issues.

  1. Training & Development

Design and deliver corporate Front Office training programs for all hotels.

Train Front Office Managers, Supervisors, Receptionists, Guest Relations teams, Concierge, Bell Desk, and other relevant Rooms Division personnel.

Develop structured induction and onboarding programs for new Front Office employees.

Conduct regular refresher training, service workshops, role plays, and operational simulations.

Establish competency standards and training requirements for each Front Office position.

Identify high-potential employees and support their development and succession planning.

Coach Front Office Managers to strengthen their leadership, people-management, and operational capabilities.

  1. Service & Guest Experience

Ensure consistent delivery of the Group's guest-service standards across all properties.

Establish best practices for guest arrival, check-in, check-out, room assignment, VIP handling, complaints, and guest recovery.

Monitor guest feedback, reviews, complaints, and satisfaction indicators related to Front Office.

Develop initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and service quality.

Ensure Front Office teams demonstrate professional communication, hospitality, and problem-solving skills.

  1. Operational Performance

Monitor Front Office operational performance across the hotel portfolio.

Review key performance indicators such as: Check-in/check-out efficiency

Guest satisfaction

Complaint resolution

Upselling performance

Room upgrade performance

Front Office productivity

Cash and billing accuracy

No-show and cancellation handling

VIP and loyalty guest management

Benchmark performance between hotels and identify opportunities for improvement.

Introduce best practices and standard operating models across the Group.

  1. Systems & Technology

Ensure effective utilization of Front Office systems and technology, including PMS and related hotel systems.

Standardize Front Office processes and system procedures where appropriate.

Support implementation of new Front Office technologies and digital guest-service solutions.

Ensure Front Office teams are properly trained on systems and operational tools.

  1. Collaboration with Hotel Management

Work closely with Hotel General Managers and Rooms Division leadership to improve Front Office performance.

Support Hotel Front Office Managers in achieving operational and service objectives.

Coordinate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Housekeeping, Finance, Sales, and HR to ensure seamless guest operations.

Participate in operational meetings and provide corporate Front Office expertise where required.

  1. Standards, Compliance & Auditing

Conduct periodic Front Office inspections and operational audits across the hotel portfolio.

Ensure compliance with Group policies, SOPs, brand standards, and applicable regulations.

Maintain consistent standards for cash handling, guest registration, room keys/access, data confidentiality, and guest information.

Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective actions.

  1. Continuous Improvement

Continuously evaluate Front Office processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and guest satisfaction.

Develop and implement new Front Office initiatives and best practices.

Benchmark the Group's Front Office operations against leading hospitality practices.

Lead Front Office transformation and improvement projects at corporate or hotel level.

Position Profile The ideal candidate is a senior hospitality Front Office professional with strong multi-property or cluster experience and a proven ability to develop people, implement standards, and improve Front Office operations across multiple hotels.

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field, with 10–15 years of progressive Front Office/Rooms Division experience, including at least 5 years in a senior Front Office or multi-property management role. Proven experience in managing Front Office operations across multiple hotels, developing SOPs and service standards, and designing and delivering professional hospitality training programs. Strong knowledge of hotel PMS system (Opera cloud), Front Office KPIs, guest experience management, and operational auditing. Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with an excellent command of English and willingness to travel between properties.
