Between Buns Deli is a lunch-focused deli concept born out of the team behind Marcy's — built around generously filled sandwiches, fresh sides, and quality food done properly in the heart of the CBD.
We're looking for a Part-Time Chef to join our kitchen team. If you love good food, work well under pressure, and take pride in what comes out of your kitchen, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with daily prep and kitchen setup ahead of service
- Preparing sandwiches, sides and other menu items to recipe and presentation standards
- Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and organisation of your station throughout the shift
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Assisting with stock rotation, portion control and minimising wastage
- Following all food safety and hygiene standards at all times
What We're Looking For
- Some prior kitchen experience (café, deli, or restaurant background welcome)
- Someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working at pace
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Good understanding of basic food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
- Passion for good food — and an appreciation for a well-made sandwich
