Tender Engineer

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit technical and commercial tender documents within specified deadlines. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and pricing schedules. Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material, labour, and equipment costs. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to obtain pricing and technical information. Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost breakdowns. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness. Maintain tender records and support contract negotiations where required. Identify project risks and propose cost-effective solutions during the tendering stage.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. 3–4 years of experience in tender preparation, estimation, and BOQ development. Previous experience in MEP or construction projects is highly preferred. Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare accurate cost estimates. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tendering processes. Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict submission deadlines.
